What to Prepare for Your Adventure
Before embarking on your journey, it’s essential to come well-prepared to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. Here’s what you should bring for each destination:
Ijen & Bromo Volcanoes
- Sturdy, comfortable shoes – The terrain can be rocky and uneven, so good footwear is a must.
- Warm layered clothing – Temperatures can drop significantly, especially during the pre-dawn hike. Wear layers that are easy to remove as the day warms up.
- Water & snacks – A quick energy boost will help keep you going on your adventure.
Tumpak Sewu Waterfall
- Comfortable, non-slip footwear – Water shoes or trekking sandals are recommended, as the trail includes slippery paths, river crossings, and rocky terrain. (Water shoes are available for rent on-site.)
- Dry bag – Essential for protecting your electronics, including your phone, camera, and drone.
- Light, breathable clothing – Ideal for trekking and enjoying the waterfalls.
- Spare clothes & towel – You’ll likely get wet, so bring a change of clothes for comfort.
